Technical Development is the work of turning that into a formulation or process a manufacturer can actually run — before Supplier Qualification, Trial, or anything in BatchGate is relevant.

Structuring what's actually being asked for — performance target, substrate, process constraint, regulatory context — into something a formulation can be judged against.
Developing or adapting a formulation, and the process it runs on, to meet the requirement — not selecting from an existing catalogue.
Working directly with the manufacturer's own technical team, since a formulation that can't run on their actual equipment isn't a solution.
Lab and pilot-scale trials evaluated against the original requirement, not just against whether the batch looks right.
Iterating where a first trial doesn't clear the target — refinement is expected, not a sign the requirement was wrong.
Converting a proven trial result into a frozen, versioned specification — the document that governs every commercial batch from this point on.
Technical Development produces the specification. Supplier Qualification confirms who can actually manufacture it. Once a batch is in commercial production against that specification, BatchGate is what records the evidence that each one matches it.
Technical Development is delivered by Nython's own technical team. It doesn't imply, and isn't billed as, any BatchGate software capability — the two stay separate, deliberately.
